What is Face Shaping and Body Contouring?

At Facial Esthetics One, our laser technologies allow us to provide face shaping and body contouring. This treatment is effective at smoothing contours of the face and body, reducing circumferences, reducing the appearance of cellulite and tightening lax skin.

Using RF (radio frequency), an advanced laser technology, we can comfortably and effectively rejuvenate the collagen in the skin. The energy delivered will result in contracting of the collagen which results in an immediate change in skin appearance. The treatment triggers a second process of new collagen production. During the procedure, the deep skin layers are gradually heated, while the skin surface remains around 39°C (hot shower temperature). Your skin temperature is constantly monitored to ensure that we remain in this ideal therapeutic range. Depending on the size of the treated area, treatment may take between 30-45 minutes. The treatment is relaxing, pain-free and has no side effects.

You may notice slight redness around the treatment area which usually disappears in a couple of hours. You will see an immediate improvement in your skin following the first treatment, but more improvement will gradually appear as the treatment course progresses. The treatment course is typically six treatments.

The improvement in skin quality should be long lasting, however keeping the body contours in check is also subject to a person’s calorie intake, exercise, and lifestyle. So, a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle play central roles in maintaining body contours.
